Kristen graduated in 2019 with a Master’s in Physiotherapy and has a background in Exercise and Sports Science. She has extensive experience working in community physiotherapy, particularly with individuals with neurological conditions, disabilities, and aged care needs. She has also worked in private practice, helping clients manage pain, recover from injuries, and improve mobility through exercise and Pilates-based rehabilitation. Kristen is passionate about making physiotherapy engaging and meaningful while supporting clients in achieving their goals.
- Experienced in community physiotherapy, working with NDIS participants and aged care clients in home-based settings
- Skilled in assessing, treating, and developing individualized therapy plans for people with neurological conditions, including chronic stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease (PD), and motor neurone disease (MND)
- Proficient in NDIS report writing, goal-directed treatment planning, and liaising with support coordinators and multidisciplinary teams
- Background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including injury rehabilitation and pain management
- Trained in clinical Pilates, running 1:1 and group sessions to improve strength, flexibility, and function
- Experience in mentoring and supervising physiotherapy staff, organizing internal CPD opportunities, and monitoring clinical caseloads
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach
Kristen is committed to evidence-based practice and has completed additional training in women’s health, aquatic therapy, vestibular physiotherapy, and early intervention for cerebral palsy.
Outside of work, she enjoys having coffee with friends, walking her dog, running and catching up on Netflix.
