Taylor

Born and raised in New Zealand, Taylor is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health and aged care. He holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health & Addictions. His work focuses on supporting older adults and individuals with cognitive and mental health conditions, helping them maintain independence, improve daily function, and achieve their personal goals.

With over four years of experience in both community-based and inpatient settings, Taylor has worked extensively in mental health occupational therapy, assisting clients with cognitive and emotional well-being, memory, learning, and problem-solving skills to enhance their quality of life. His expertise in aged care rehabilitation includes supporting older adults with cognitive impairments, mobility limitations, and functional decline, promoting independence and engagement in meaningful activities.

Taylor works collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community networks to develop individualized rehabilitation and support plans. He has experience conducting functional and cognitive assessments, rehabilitation planning, and equipment prescription to ensure safe and effective discharge planning. Managing a small caseload in community mental health, he helps clients access support networks, assistive equipment, and therapeutic programs to facilitate long-term well-being.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys staying active at the gym and playing golf.
